Admiral Freebee is the stage name of Antwerp-based artist Tom Van Laere. He broke through during the biennial Humo's Rock Rally competition, edition 2000 where he finished second behind Mintzkov Luna. Since the release of his self-titled debut album in 2003, his career took off. With his unique blend of roots rock, he became a distinctive voice in the Belgian rock firmament. Songs such as 'Rag's n Run', 'Oh Darkness' or 'Always On The Run' have since become true Belpop classics that belong to our collective memory.Or do you know many artists who can credit a duet with the legendary Emmylou Harris.
