De internationale singer-songwriter-muzikant Melody Gardot is terug met een gloednieuw album ‘Sunset In The Blue’, haar vijfde studio album.
Op dit langverwachte album staat onder meer 'From Paris With Love', haar single begeleid door een 'virtueel orkest' ter ondersteuning van de artiesten tijdens de COVID-19 pandemie. Op ‘Sunset In The Blue’ is eveneens haar track 'Little Something', met niemand minder dan de internationale ster Sting te horen.
De rest van het album bestaat uit zowel originele composities als covers, allemaal gebaseerd op de thema's liefde en samenwerking. Melody Gardot wordt vergezeld door het multi-Grammy Award-winnende productieteam van haar platina album My One and Only Thrill: producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock), arrangeur en componist Vince Mendoza (Björk, Robbie Williams, Elvis Costello) en de legendarische geluidstechnicus Al Schmitt (Frank Sinatra, Joao Gilberto, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney).
